i think right now more people have seen me on the djembe than on the drums.

well, while i play the djembe more, and honestly sometimes i prefer it, cause it's such a hassle to set it up, and comparatively a djembe is so much easier to cart down.

i honestly don't think women are oppressed in Singapore, or at least most of them don't feel like they are. so i mean, where does that leave AWARE?

(more specifically, i think we are all oppressed together!)

if i somehow offend anyone other than AWARE members, i deeply apologize. my straw poll on oppression consisted of mainly my mum, who heard me exclaim loudly when i was reading the papers one day as i sat on the dining table.
